Cultivating the Next Generation of Healers

Clinical Supervision for LPC-Associates in North Texas

Transitioning from the classroom to the therapy room is a significant season of growth. As an LPC-Supervisor with 13 years of experience across the full continuum of care—from intensive outpatient settings to private practice—my goal is to provide more than just oversight. I am here to provide a bridge.

I specialize in mentoring Associates who have a heart for trauma-informed care, anxiety, and shame-resilience. Our supervision sessions go beyond case consultation; we dive into the integration of clinical theory (CBT, EFT, and IFS), the nuances of the therapeutic relationship, and the essential practice of self-care to prevent burnout in this sacred work.

For those interested in faith-integrated counseling, I offer a space to explore how to ethically and effectively bring a spiritual worldview into the clinical setting.

My Supervisory Style:

  • Clinical Rigor: Drawing from over a decade of high-acuity experience to help you navigate complex cases with confidence.

  • Compassionate Mentorship: A safe, non-judgmental space to process countertransference and clinical "stuckness."

  • Business Wisdom: Guidance on navigating the professional landscape of the North Dallas mental health community.

Supervision Frequently Asked Questions

Drawing from my 13 years in intensive clinical settings, I focus on helping you develop a "trauma-informed lens" while grounding your work in evidence-based modalities. I want you to leave our time together feeling clinically confident and personally resilient.

  • I provide both individual and triadic/group supervision hours to ensure you meet the Texas State Board requirements. I find that a mix of both allows for deep-dive case consultation as well as the rich, collaborative learning that happens in a small group setting.

  • Yes. For Associates who desire to work within a Christian counseling framework, we can spend time discussing how to ethically and effectively integrate faith into the therapeutic process without compromising clinical integrity.

  • My supervision fee is $60 per week. This includes our weekly meetings, phone/text consultation for urgent clinical issues, and review of your documentation and hours logs.

  • As a supervisor in private practice, I typically provide supervision for Associates who have already secured a primary site (such as a non-profit, hospital, or another group practice). However, I am always open to discussing potential opportunities for the right candidate as they arise.

  • The first step is a brief, 20-minute call. We will discuss your clinical interests, your goals for the next two years, and see if our styles are a good match. You can request this call via the [Inquiry Form].
